All right then, before any of you start bashing our club with all sorts of nonsense, read the rest of this journal first.

We're NOT here to start a war against homosexuals. This is against the gay literature and material itself, NOT against the gay population. Think of it as a support group for the non-yaoi/yuri fans, since that's what this really is for.

The reason that we started this club is to give those of us who prefer the traditional boy x girl coupling a club to go to on dA. Some of us have really good friends who are yaoi fanatics, and we're ok with that. Some of us have friends that are actually homosexual, and we're ok with that too. Recently, though, we noticed the number of overwhelming amounts of boy x boy deviations and clubs for yaoi fans here on dA. So we thought that we should give the old schoolers a club just for them as well. A support group, if you will, so that people who don't like yaoi/yuri don't feel so out of place because they just don't like something that's so popular here on dA. (Whatever was said about yaoi above goes for yuri as well, btw)

Just because we've decided to start this club does NOT make us homophobes. Actually, we should probably explain what an actual "homophobe" is just to clear the air of any confusion. Just because someone doesn't like to watch homosexual activity does NOT MAKE THAT PERSON A HOMOPHOBE!! A phobia, for those who don't know, is a very strong FEAR, a complete fight/flight response when extreme, of something that in itself is not dangerous. A person that actually suffers from homophobia is a person that is either TERRIFIED of anyone the same sex as the homophobe OR a person who is TERRIFIED of homosexuals and homosexual activities. It can also apply to a person who is terrified of sameness in general and becoming homosexual themselves. Therefore, disliking someone or even hating someone who actually suffers from homophobia, a real homophobe, is really unfair and rather discriminating. So don't go around telling everyone how you dislike homophobes because that really sounds stupid anyways. Is this clear? Good.

Please. If you are a yaoi/yuri fan yourself, do not bash our club. Go to one of the several different yaoi/yuri fan clubs instead. We don't bash your boy x boy/girl x girl clubs; therefore you should not bash ours. Ok? And please note that we never said that we want everyone to dislike yaoi/yuri. That is not what we want. Ok?

Rules of the Guild:

1. There will be NO homosexual bashing on here. We're NOT here to start a war on homosexuals. You'll be removed from the member list if you do so.

2. No bashing on other yaoi or yuri fan clubs. We ask that those clubs please report to us if you see one of our members bashing your club and we will remove them from the member list.

3. You cannot like yaoi or shounen-ai if you want to join. I know this seems obvious, but we ought to make sure that that's clear at the outset. (Same thing applies to yuri and shoujou-ai)

To Submit a Deviation:
Send us a note with the link to your deviation and we'll submit it as long as it follows these guidelines.

1. The deviation does not contain yaoi/yuri or shounen-ai/shojo-ai. The reason for this club is so that members may come and submit their artwork in a yaoi/yuri free zone.

2. The deviation does not contain hentai/perverted artwork. Let's keep our art rating at a PG-13 level and lower.

3. The deviation does not contain hate art or bashing. That is not what we're here for. We're a support group here, and we're not trying to start a war. So please no hate art.

Also, if any of our members could point out some great straight couple art that also follows the guidelines, we'd like to get some favs up. Thanks.
